Innovation in R&D technology
Creating new forms of solutions and expertise
In 2016 and 2019, Hanstech established the Specialty Chemicals Division and the Nanomaterials Division. Both divisions create new types of solutions and expertise on top of the Group's existing services. The Specialty Chemicals Division mainly researches and sells patented formulas for the reuse of waste liquids from the semiconductor process to customers. The division also obtains the collection operation and transportation services from the Environmental Protection Agency's Resource Recycling Organization (Control No. K71B1555). This is one of the solutions for environmental protection and waste reduction to help semiconductor industry customers to recycle and reuse their liquid business wastes (C0299 / D1504), and to fulfill the ESG standard's demand of a recycling economy.
In 2019, Hanstech formally entered the field of nanomaterials, focusing on E-Chuck / Handler Change Kit / In-Shuttle / various ESD carriers and trays in the semiconductor / package testing industry to deal with ESD dissipative surface solutions, and completed the research and development with the Group and the Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI) in three parties. The technology started with the cooperation of ion deposition in high-level PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition), and we are looking for more cooperation in the future. Successful and forward-looking innovation is only achieved when the results of research and development can be realized into solutions that can serve customers.

Since the green process solutions developed by the Group are becoming more and more important, together with the special chemical patent formula sales (Patented catalyst for hydrogen peroxide removal of waste sulfuric acid and patented powerful deoxygenation enzyme for waste liquid and wastewater treatment) / reuse mechanism used in the Group's related solutions (Extension of Chemical Waste Liquid Treatment Technology), the recycling operation can solve the problem of liquid waste produced by the semiconductor process.
